2. What we collect, why, and on what basis

When you visit the site. Our hosting provider records technical data about each visit: your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested, your browser type and version, your operating system and the address of the page that referred you. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and securing our website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). These logs are kept for a short period, normally no longer than 30 days, and then deleted or anonymised.

When you email us. We process your name, your email address and whatever you include in your message so that we can respond and follow up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or the steps needed before entering into a contract with you where that applies (Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) UK GDPR). We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for 12 months afterwards, unless a business relationship follows, in which case it is kept as part of that relationship.

Cookies. This site sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not need your consent for the strictly necessary ones. You can block cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Special category data. We do not ask for and do not want to receive sensitive personal data through this website.
